Honey,hang in there!(and HIM too)

These days I rely on doses of Sem.Chard and my quilting/stitching endeavours to keep me (partially) sane.

For umpteen years (about 22) I held the fort through earhtquakes, bushfires, normal childhood /household catastrophes, & managing an orchard......When HE was home we worked to a fairly even workload.(I think)

All I can say is one hell of a dose of sense of humour helps.....no end!!
These days my OH has cancer and dementia.......grab what you can, while you can,and DON'T keep a debit/credit ledger on "who did/does/owes who what!"
(work that out if you can)
That is NOT what marriage is built on.

Thank you for the nod! It sounds like you and your huz have a good thing going. I hope someday we will get there, too; perhaps when mine figures out that elves and fairies don't buy the food, pay the bills, send the birthday gifts, remember the field trip permission slips and make sure our kindergartener's homework makes it back to school...lol
